We're grateful for the land that's in our care.
Midwestern farmland preservation has been a way of life for 5 generations in the Jorgensen family. Val’s parents shared with her the joy of growing, cooking and eating real food while growing up on the family farm in Michigan.
In 1992, she started her own farm in Ohio to teach her four sons how to garden, care for animals, and explore the natural world. A decade later, in line with a family legacy of service to the land and relationships, she opened the farm to the public, launching Jorgensen Farms in 2002.
