Since 2002, we've been proud to be one of Columbus' first organic farms. We partner with local restaurants and markets to expand the organic, slow, local food movement in the Midwest. When people eat natural, real food grown in healthy soil, we believe they taste and feel the difference.

Can’t make it to our markets, but still want farm-fresh produce every week?
Join Our New CSA Program!
What is CSA, you ask?
Great question. CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. Essentially, CSA is a way for you and your family to receive a weekly bag of fresh, local, organic produce and herbs.
But CSA is so much more than that. It is a way for you and your family to contribute to a growing movement of communities and individuals that choose to share the risks and rewards of a local farm. Rather than run to the store to buy produce that has been shipped from across the country, or around the globe, you choose to personally interact with the farmers who work hard to grow your produce. You choose to experience the place right down the road where that bunch of carrots or beets was pulled from the ground, where that head of lettuce or those leaves of kale flourished in the sun. And, most importantly, you choose to directly support your farmers, so they can continue to work hard growing fresh, healthy produce for you and your family.
So, Why Choose Jorgensen?
We at Jorgensen Farms are committed to growing a variety of fresh, healthy, certified organic produce for you and your family. We aim to select plant varieties that not only promote Ohio’s strong farming heritage, but also bring the very best flavor and color to your home. As your local farmers, we believe in complete transparency and communication. We want to welcome you to our community to experience the place we love; and, we want to directly connect you to the process of bringing food from our fields to your family.
One Last Thing.
Joining a CSA means creating a partnership with your local farmers, and understanding that while we promise to give you the best produce we can, Mother Nature works in myriad ways. Each week’s bounty will be different, and we can’t guarantee that your produce will always look perfect. Disease happens, garden pests arrive, and the weather changes on a whim. What we can guarantee, is that our produce is free of chemicals, pesticides, and fertilizers, and comes straight from the ground as nature intended. We will work hard to provide you with the very best produce we can produce.

Here’s how our program works:
Our program amounts to 20 weeks of fresh produce and herbs at $25/week, for a total of $500 between June and October.
Pick-up is once a week on a designated day of the week (more info below).
Each bag typically includes 8 - 10 items of various quantities. We will do our best to ensure that each and every bag has a wide variety of items.
Members may also choose to split their share with a friend or family member. Let our CSA Coordinator know if you would like to split your share with someone.
Start Dates and Pricing options
The official start date of the program is Thursday, June 6.
Members can pay in-full, or once a month.
Members who wish to pay monthly will pay $100 at the start of each month, for a total of five $100 payments throughout the season.
Members may pay with cash, check or credit card. There is a 3% surcharge for all credit card transactions.
Contact our CSA Coordinator to set up your payment plan.
Members have the option of including supplemental items in their share. Supplements are renewed on a monthly basis. Members may choose to discontinue supplements at any time, but must finish the month they have payed for. Supplemental items include:
A weekly quart of our famous fresh tomato Gazpacho for an additional $32/month
A weekly carton of one dozen multi-colored eggs for an additional $20/month.
Please note, eggs may be limited depending on how many members want them, and on how our chickies are doing throughout the season.
Pick-Up Days and Locations
Members have two options for picking up their share:
On the farm on Thursdays from 8am - 7pm through our Oak Grove entrance.
At one of our farmer's markets. Locations and times are detailed at the top of this page. Both markets take place on Saturday morning from 8am - 12pm.
If you do not specify your preferred location and day for pick-up, we will automatically prepare your share for Thursday pick-up at the farm.
Vacations and Missed Pick-Ups
If you know you won't be able to pick-up your produce one week, or if you plan to go out of town, you are more than welcome to find a friend or family member to pick up your share for the week(s) you will miss. It is your responsibility to notify friends or neighbors of the location and time of pick up. Please notify us if you will have someone else picking up your share in the time you are away.
If you have chosen to pick-up your share at the farm on Thursdays, but know you can't make it that day, you can also pick up your share on Saturday at one of our markets. Please notify us if you would like to switch the day of your pick-up.
If you do not notify us that you won't be able to pick-up your produce (it's okay, life happens!), we will contact you to remind you, and give you until Friday at 8pm (for Thursday pick-up) or Sunday at 8pm (for Saturday pick-up) to pick up your produce. If you do not pick up your produce on that Friday or Sunday, we will donate your share. Please note that the longer the produce sits in our cooler, the quality may diminish! We cannot offer refunds for unclaimed shares.
It is incredibly important that you notify us of any changes to your plans! Whether you would like to pick-up at a different location for one week, or if you will be going out of town and can't have someone pick up your share. We work very hard to put your shares together, and a missed bag means wasted food, time, and effort on our part.
All members receive:
A free canvas Jorgensen Farms tote bag to use when picking up their share.
10% off of any farm-to-table dinners hosted here at Jorgensen Farms.
10% off any additional produce, eggs, meat, and other value-added items for sale at our new on-site Farm Market Store, which will open in 2019.
A weekly e-newsletter filled with recipe inspiration, tips and tricks for storing your produce, and a little history on what the produce is and where it comes from.
