Catering Prep Cook


Serving clients and guests at Jorgensen Farms’ unique event venues is the most important part of the experience we provide. Meals are a large part of celebrations, and the Catering Prep Cook will be responsible for working alongside the Catering Head Chef to create and deliver exceptional meals for all of Jorgensen Farms’ catered events.

In this role, the Catering Prep Cook must be prepared to jump in to do whatever is needed to ensure a successful meal service. Having the ability to plan ahead, to manage time wisely and to think and act quickly under pressure will enable the Culinary Team to prepare meals of consistently high quality in an organized and timely fashion.


Culinary Service

  • Follow recipes, procedures and manuals to create meals that meet or exceed clients’ wishes and Jorgensen Farms’ standards of quality

  • Ensure proper management of equipment and workspaces and adherence to safety standards

  • Facilitate expediting of meal service for all on-site catered events

  • Whatever it takes to create a comfortable, welcoming and supportive environment for JF Staff and Guests



  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with catering

  • Ability to lift equipment up to 40 pounds and remain on their feet for a minimum of 6 hours

  • Availability to work on evenings, weekends and holiday


  • Off-site catering experience

  • ServSafe Certification
